The Best Glide ASE Emergency Survival Blanket is made from Polyethylene terephthalate to help prevent HEAT LOSS and limit SOLAR EXPOSURE!  It reflects up to 90% of Radiant Energy.  It is Windproof and Waterproof.  The orange is highly visible to rescuers in most terrain; and, the green is concealing, depending upon the terrain.  However, the shiny side on either can serve as a signal mirror to rescuers, as well.
